Ink Review #5: Robert Oster Honey Bee

This marks the last ink review of September. Normally, fall evokes images of orange-red leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and cute warm outfits--but in Texas, it's just hot. Though--I am glad it is PSL season again, as this is one of my greatest guilty pleasures!

Today I will be reviewing my first Robert Oster ink. This is a warm, golden yellow which is perfect for the fall!

Robert Oster inks hail from Australia! This is an environmentally conscious brand, as their inks are non-toxic. These inks are made in small batches and as such may vary in color.

I chose Honey Bee (as well as a few other samples) from Pen Chalet.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading with a moderate dry time. Vanness states that it has high sheen, but my samples had none.

 Writing Sample:

This ink had an average flow. I had no issues with dry starts or smearing.

Overall: Robert Oster Honey Bee is a golden brown with high shading.
