Swabs:
This is a beautiful gray purple with medium shading, no sheen, and a quick dry time. The color is lighter and more gray-toned than Rohrer & Klinger's Scabiosa. The ink is gray when you write, but changes quickly to purple.
Writing Sample:
This ink was drier than other Robert Oster inks. Although I used this in a medium nib, I experienced two hard starts. I am a big fan of the shading!
Overall: This is a very pretty shade of dusky purple. It's a bit too light for the office but is perfect for rainy days or journaling. It would be best appreciated in medium or broad wet writers.
