Ink Review #22: Robert Oster Thunderstorm

Today I will be reviewing another Robert Oster ink. I won't lie, this might become one of my favorite manufacturers! This is a dark black which is meant to parallel the color of the sky during thunderstorms.

Swabs:

True to its namesake, this is a dark black without shading or sheen. It is slightly gray which reminds of black jeans which have been washed too many times.

Writing Sample:

This ink dried quickly and behaved well in my Lamy 2000. I did like that this color wasn't a true black, as it provided some variation to standard black inks.

Overall: This is a well-behaved black ink that is suitable for the office or writing notes.
