Today I'll be writing about Diamine Pink Champagne. This is a bubbly, festive color with lots of shimmer! I've talked about shading and sheen before. "Shimmer" inks are known for their sparkling, glittery gleam and contain glitter particles. These particles may settle in your pen; therefore, it is best to "warm up" the pen prior to use. You can roll the barrel of your pen between your hands or gently invert the pens. The shimmer is best seen when used in broad or flex nibs.
Swabs:
This is a beautiful grapefruit pink with gold shimmer. This has a moderate dry time and medium shading.
Writing Sample:
I liked this color so much, I ended up writing two pages instead of the customary one. This ink was well-behaved for longer writing; however, it was slow to dry.
Overall: This ink propelled itself to one of my top favorites. I love the pale orange-pink and most of all, the gold glitter!
