Ink Review #247: Papier Plume Lover's Red

Today I’ll be introducing another ink brand to the blog! Papier Plume Inks is a company founded in 2001. They are based in New Orleans, LA and offer fountain pens, bags, and handcrafted inks. Lover’s Red is a brownish red.

* This post, as well as the next few posts, has evidence of water damage (I spilled 16 oz of water onto the desk/journal).

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading and no sheen. The color reminds me of faded red beans.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a longer dry time of 40 seconds and medium water resistance.

This ink had an average flow. I liked this color a lot! It’s a characteristic warm red.

Overall: Papier Plume Lover's Red is a rusty red with lots of shading.
