Ink Review #338: 3 Oysters Red Wine

 

Today is a bittersweet post because we have finished White Fang by Jack London.

Swabs: 

This ink had low shading and no sheen. The color is a rich, deep purple with red undertones. It is similar to Yama Budo but leans on the purple end of the spectrum. As seen in the water test below, it has slightly yellow hues.

 Dry Time/Water Resistance: 

 

Limonaired Ink Test Card

This ink had an average dry time of 25 seconds and medium water resistance. The purple washes out to a pale yellow.

 This is a dry ink with average saturation. 

Overall: 3 Oysters Red Wine is a dry purple with red undertones.
