Ink Review #378: Monteverde Smoke Noir

 

Today I will be reviewing an ink that is new to this blog, but near and dear to my heart. Monteverde Smoke Noir was the first bottle that I purchased during pharmacy school.

Swabs:


This is a dark gray with low shading and low sheen.  

Tomoe River Paper  52 gsm
Dry Time/Water Resistance:  

Limonaired Ink Test Card

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and high water resistance.

Writing Sample:

Tomoe River Paper 52 gsm

 
This ink had a wet flow.

Overall: Monteverde Smoke Noir is a dark gray with low shading and a wet flow.
