Thank you for the fine samples! A great help to choose an ink colour.
ReplyDeleteBTW: this ink is called "Oranje Boven" (not "Orange Boven"), which is Dutch for "Orange Above". It's an old battle cry from (about?) 1630, when The Netherlands rebelled to the foreign ruler (the king of Spain), what resulted in a 80 year war. The prince of orange (called: Willem van Oranje) was the great leader of this rebellion. His current decedent is still King of The Netherlands: it's the familie of Orange (Familie van Oranje). Hence the name and colour of this fine ink :)
