Ink Review #578: Standard Bindery Old Friend

Hello everyone! These next few reviews will feature Standard Bindery inks. This is an Australian-based company that was formerly named BookBinders. These inks have been discontinued and are no longer available. One of my IG friends was kind enough to send a few samples along—many thanks to @mattematical for letting me review some cool inks!

Today we are reviewing Standard Bindery Old Friend.

This ink had little to no shading and no sheen. It is a reddish purple, similar to mulled wine or grapes.
