Ink Review #50: Diamine Sargasso Sea

For my 50th Ink Review, I will talk about another Diamine ink! Sargasso Sea is a rich, electric blue.

The Sargasso Sea is located within the Atlantic ocean. Interestingly, it is the only sea without a land boundary! Its defining characteristic is the abundance of a brown Sargassum seaweed.

This ink had a medium dry time, medium shading, and high sheen. The ink is a velvety blue.

I found this ink to be very pleasant and well-behaved. The only caveat is that it takes longer to dry--but the wait is worth it. The sheen is visible in my Medium-Fine nib.

Overall: I was quite happy with this ink. The color is cheerful, bright, and reminds me of rich blue velvet!
