Ink Review #365: Kala Nostalgia Neon Foxy (Neon Pink)

Today I am so excited to be reviewing the Kala Nostalgia Tribute to Neon collection! As you can guess by the name, these inks are incredibly bright and literally glow off of the page. They are extremely pigmented and look like highlighter ink in the sample vials. This series was inspired by the vivid colors of the 60s and 70s.

This ink has low shading and no sheen. As it dries, it develops a shine similar to a thin layer of paint. The color is fluorescent Barbie-girl pink.

I found that this ink had an average, steady flow. The color is juuust dark enough to be legible, though it would be better off as an accent ink. I like the shade of pink—it’s cheerful and happy!

Overall: This neon pink is a great start to the Kala collection! I look forward to reviewing the rest of the samples. I’m not usually a pink person, but I may end up purchasing a full-sized bottle.
