Ink Review #711: IWI Color Of Nature: Great Cold

Today we will be taking a look at Great Cold. This is part of IWI’s Color of Nature series, and represents the coldest time of the year—around January 20th.

Swabs:

Great Cold is a dark, reddish purple with medium shading and no sheen.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and high water resistance.

Great Cold had an average flow with medium saturation.

Overall: I usually stick to blue-black inks but liked this color! It would be perfect for the winter. I definitely recommend trying out a sample; the shading is really quite lovely!
