Ink Review #737: Pennonia Balaton Blue

Today we will be reviewing Pennonia Balaton Blue. This ink is named after Lake Balaton, which is also known as the Hungarian Sea. This is a multi-shading pastel blue.

Swabs:

Balaton Blue is a warm light blue with high purple shading and no sheen. It reminds me of a slightly diluted Troublemaker Milky Ocean.

Balaton Blue had an average flow and low saturation.

Overall: I really liked the high shading! This is an ink that would do best in broad nibs, wet writers, and large swatches. I would recommend trying a sample!
