Ink Review #68: Birmingham Josh Gibson Field

Today I am reviewing another Birmingham ink. It is named after Josh Gibson Field, who played baseball for the Homestead Grays & Pittsburg Crawlers in 1930. He possessed exceptional talent in catching and power-hitting. Gibson Field is a dark, bluish green-black.

This ink had a moderate dry time, low shading, and no sheen. The color is a washed out black with dark blue and greenish hues.

This was a pleasant, smooth ink.

Overall: I appreciated the subtles hues but would use this in a flex or broad nib.
