Ink Review #110: Sailor Studio 831
Today's post focuses on Sailor Studio 831, a lovely dark magenta.
Swabs:
This ink had a quick dry time, low shading, and medium sheen. The purple is warm-hued and accented by a gold sheen. It reminds me of blackberry cobbler.
Writing Sample:
This ink performed very well in my Pilot Kakuno <M>. The sheen is visible in fine lines and is not overwhelming. The gold complemented this color nicely and gave it a warm, joyful feel.
Overall: I like this color a lot! The purple /gold combination makes this color suitable for fall and winter.
