Today I will be reviewing another Iroshizuku ink. Shin Kai translates to "Deep Sea" which is a perfect name for this cool-toned navy.

This ink had high shading and low sheen. The dry times were moderately longer than other brands but typical of the Iroshizuku lineup. I found the color to be a true navy and darker than Robert Oster's Blue Denim.

I found this ink to be well behaved in all nib sizes. The ink flow was wet and consistent for longer writing samples. This ink was easy to clean from my converters and pens and required no extra mandhandling.

Overall: Shin-Kai is a beautiful, easy navy with lots of shading. This ink is well-suited for finicky pens and nibs of all sizes!
