Ink Review #21: Bungubox June Bride Something Blue

Today is an exciting day--we've reached Chapter 2 in Call of The Wild! To celebrate the occasion, I decided to blog about a special color. Today I will be reviewing my first Bungubox Ink: June Bride Something Blue. This is a beautiful, intense turquoise.

Bungubox is a stationery store that is located in Japan. They are known for their limited edition fountain pens as well as their inks, which are custom-made by Sailor. These inks are quite pricey--I purchased this sample at $7.50 / vial. from Pen Chalet.

This ink had medium shading, no shimmer, and dried quickly. I actually found this to be on little on the dry side. The color is bright in person and reminds me of a bluer Tiffany & Co.

This was a well-behaved ink. I especially like the teal-blue hue and vibrancy of the ink. Like stated previously, I felt that this ink was drier than Pilot Iroshizuku samples. I have to reserve judgement on whether or not the ink is worth the high price tag.

Overall: This is a bright, happy turquoise that is suitable for spring and summer.
