Ink Review #29: Rohrer & Klingner SketchInk: Klara

Today I will be reviewing another Rohrer & Klinger ink. SketchInks are inks that are made by hand using bright, natural colorants. These inks are waterproof and nano-pigmented, so it is best to clean your pens regularly. Klara is a beautiful shade of green with turquoise undertones.

This sample had a quick dry time, no sheen, and medium shading. The color is a minty green with blue hues. Or, as my brother puts it, "It looks like the minty green toothpaste from Colgate."

This ink had a medium flow. I tested this ink in a medium nib on my Otto Hutt and experienced consistent hard starts. It always took a few strokes for the ink to begin flowing.

Overall: This is a cool, pleasant shade of green. However, I don't think I will repurchase this due to the hard starts/skipping.
