Ink Review #35: Rohrer & Klingner SketchInk Marlene

Today I will be reviewing another Rohrer & Klinger SketchInk. These are made by hand and contain nanopigments; therefore, it is recommended that you clean your pens out regularly. These inks are waterproof when dry, but can be mixed with water to create a wash when wet. Marlene is a vivid, charismatic blue that reminds me of a bright summer day.

This is a turquoise blue that has no sheen, low shading, and a moderate dry time.

Unlike R&K's Klara, this ink demonstrated a consistent flow and did not cause any hard starts or skips. It dried quickly despite feeling like a wetter ink.

Overall: I liked this ink a lot! It is a charismatic, bright blue that is suitable for writing or sketching.
