Ink Review #37: J.Herbin Rouille D'Ancre

Today I am reviewing another J. Herbin ink. Rouille D'Ancre translates to "rusty anchor red" which describes the color quite nicely. This is a muted pink which is perfect for fall.

This ink had a slow dry time, low shading, and no sheen. The color is less pink and purple compared to my other reviews. The ink has a purple tint initially that fades to pink as it dries.

This ink had a consistent flow. I am still not enamored by how wet J. Herbin inks are. However this ink flowed nicely and I had no issues with starts or skipping.

Overall: This is a dark salmon color that would work best in drier nibs.
