Ink Review #42: Robert Oster River of Fire

Today I will be reviewing Robert Oster River of Fire. This is a gleaming dark green with a bit of sheen.

This ink had a moderate drying time, low sheen, and high shading. The sheen is difficult to capture in pictures but is a beautiful red. The dark forest green, along with the reddish gleam, reminds me of winter and the holidays.

I wrote 5 pages in my A5 notebook on one Vanishing Point fill. Typically, I write one page, but this ink had me captivated! This ink behaved quite well! There was no smearing. As expected with most inks , I had a hard start if the Vanishing Point was left unattended for 5+ minutes.

Overall: This is a beautiful dark, forest green that is perfect for the upcoming holidays!
