Pen Review: Otto Hutt Design 06 White/Rose Gold
This is my second Design 06 Fountain pen from Otto Hutt. The White/Rose Gold color is classy and elegant. The color caught my eye on Instagram (thanks to @books.and.inkedpens) and I instantly thought it would be a perfect addition to the office. For this pen, I picked the <F> nib as my other Otto Hutt sports a <M> nib.
The pen itself took a bit of internet digging to find. I wound up purchasing it from BigPens. I received an email that the pen had been shipped within 1-2 business days, and the pen was on my doorstep 2 weeks later!
This pen, like its sister, is well made. It is evenly weighted and does not tire my hand during writing sessions. The clip is sturdy and firm. The nib is a steel Bock nib and is firm and provides a very smooth ink flow. There is no scratchiness felt when writing. As a bonus, the nibs can be screwed out (and interchanged between models)!.
It comes as no surprise that Otto Hutt produces reliable writers. I am quite glad with this purchase and welcome this pen to the family!
