Ink Review #113: Sailor Studio 437 — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we will be reviewing Sailor Studio 437. This is a dark brick red.

Swabs:

This ink had a moderate dry time, no low shading, and no sheen. The color shades from a brownish rose to a warm coffee. This color has a rich purple undertone.

Writing Sample:

This ink had a generous flow. I found that the color was unidimensional and flat.

Overall: This is a dark red that is great for fall. I won't be purchasing a full bottle as the color is too flat for my taste.
