Ink Review #130: Sailor Studio 950 — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Welcome to March! It's crazy to think that we are 1/4 of the way through 2020. Today is our last purple Sailor Studio ink.

Swabs:

This ink had a moderate dry time, low shading, and low sheen. This is a dark purple similar to Robert Oster Deep Purple.

Writing Sample:

This ink had a slightly wet flow. The sheen was evident even while using a fine nib. The color is suited for the winter or fall.

Overall: Sailor 950 is a dark medium purple.
