Ink Review #156: Sailor Studio 741 — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today’s post will review Sailor Studio 741. This is a bright blue.

Swabs:

This ink had a moderate dry time, high shading, and medium sheen. The color is reminiscent of a saturated blue summer sky. It is a close match to Lamy Vibrant Turquoise.

Writing Sample:

I found that this ink had a consistent flow without any hard stops or skips. The blue popped out of my writing sample. It’s a lovely ink.

Overall: I recommend trying this sample out if you would like a sailor-blue, summery ink.
