Ink Review #189: Sailor Studio 683 — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we’ll be taking a look at Sailor Studio 683, a dark purple.

Swabs:

This ink had a moderate dry time, medium shading, and low silver sheen. The color reminds me of dark eggplant.

Writing Sample:

I liked this color quite a lot. It behaved smoothly with a slightly wet flow.

Overall: I recommend purchasing a sample if you like smooth dark purple inks.
