Ink Review #195: Tono & Lims No. 4 U & I Tonacha Green

Today is our first non-Sailor ink in quite a while! Tono & Lims No. 4 is an oceany blue. This is from their Standard line.

I’m happy to announce that moving forward, all posts will incorporate another section—Dry Time/Water Resistance! Many thanks to those of you who reached out with feedback.

Swabs:

U & I has greener undertones compared to Pelikan Aquamarine.

This ink had high shading, and no sheen. The color is a gentle blue with a slight hint of green.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a moderate dry time, around 20 seconds, and medium water resistance.

This ink had a consistent and slightly dry flow.

Overall: I recommend checking this ink out. It’s a delicate grey-blue with lots of shading.
