Ink Review #220: Taccia Ebi Purple Red

Today I’ll be writing about an ink that captured my heart! I’m normally not a fan of purple inks but Taccia Ebi Purple hit it out of the park.

Swabs:

This ink had high shading and low green/gold sheen. This is a reddish purple that is more saturated than Sailor Kuzu.

This ink had a moderate dry time at 30 seconds and medium water resistance.

I found that this ink was on the wetter side with a generous flow. I suspect that the shading would be apparent even in a <F> nib.

Overall: This is a rich purple that reminds me of yams. I’m looking forward to purchasing a full-sized bottle in the future.
