Ink Review #266: De Atramentis Archive Black

Today’s post will review De Atramentis Archive Black—a counterpart to one of my original posts. This is similar to De Atramentis Document Black. Both are waterproof and light resistant, but Document ink meets specific ISO criteria and can be used in official and legal documents.

This ink had a long dry time at 60+ seconds and high water resistance.

This ink had a smooth and consistent flow. It was not overly wet and would be suitable for taking notes.

Overall: This is a standard black ink. It has a very long dry time which makes me hesitant to use this for quick writing. The color and water resistance make this a great choice for notes and documents.
