Ink Review #269: Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Red

Today I will be reviewing another Pelikan 4001 ink.

Swabs:

This ink had very low shading and no sheen. The color looks like a watered-down version of red ballpoint pens.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time at 25 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found this ink to have an average and consistent flow. The color is legible and suited for work.

Overall: This is a refreshing red that can be used at the office or in school.
