Ink Review #288: Tono & Lims Bleu Macaron

Today I’ll be reviewing Tono & Lims Bleu Macaron from their Baby Color line. This is a light turquoise that is a very close match to Tiffany & Co’s iconic robin’s egg blue!

This ink had medium shading and no sheen. The color is similar to J.Herbin Diabolo Menthe.

This ink had a surprisingly quick dry time at 15 seconds and no water resistance.

I’ve noticed Tono & Lims inks are usually on the drier side. However this ink turned my Sailor into a very wet writer! It had a smooth, consistent flow and is dark enough to be legible.

Overall: I like this ink a lot and will be purchasing a full bottle in the future. It’s the perfect turquoise shade, has shading, and is well-behaved!
