Ink Review #299: Pilot 100th Anniversary Hoteisen

Today we’ll be reviewing another Pilot 100th Anniversary ink. This is a dark-green ink.

Note: I apologize in advance for my spelling errors — the ink is Hoteisen, not Hoteiten.

This ink had no shading and low sheen. This is a dark green-black similar to Robert Oster Black ‘N’ Blue.

I found that this ink was quite wet (similar to other Pilot inks) . The flow was hard to control at times but I believe this was due to my architect nib. It’s a great ink if you’re looking for a subtle color other than black.

Overall: This is a dark, deep green with a hint of black and sheen. It’s well-behaved with a wet flow.
