Ink Review #332: Kyo-No-Oto 07 Hisoku — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today I’ll be reviewing a special edition ink from the Kyoto TAG line. These inks were produced for the TAG stationery store in Kyoto, Japan. 07 Hisoku is a pleasant glassy blue.

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and no sheen. I don’t have any close matches but it is a greener version of Colorverse Rainy Day. I love the color. It’s a really pretty light blue with hints of grey and green.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a quick dry time at 15 seconds and medium water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found this ink to have an average but consistent flow. I love the color and it reminds me of the ocean.

Overall: This is a beautiful muted blue. I highly recommend checking out a sample.
