Ink Review #335: Robert Oster Jade — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we’ll be reviewing Robert Oster Jade, a yellow-green.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading and no sheen. It is more green-hued than Rohrer & Klingner Alt-Goldgrun and similar to Robert Oster Crocodile.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time at 30 seconds and no water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found that this ink had a consistent, smooth flow in my EF nib. I did not experience any hard skips or starts.

Overall: This is a refreshing yellow-green that is well-behaved. It would be perfect as a summer and spring ink.
