Ink Review #379: Tono & Lims Wings of The Sea

Today I will be reviewing the second ink in the T&L Beyond the Horizon series. Wings of the Sea is a bright sky blue.

This ink had low shading and medium red sheen. The color is a bright blue that is a more saturated version of Tono & Lims: Welcome YOME! and Lamy Vibrant Turquoise. It is a close duplicate of Sailor Studio 441.

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and low water resistance.

To my surprise, this ink had an average to wet flow (usually Tono & Lims inks are on the dry side). I loved the red sheen and thought it added a bit of ‘pop’ to the color.

Overall: This is a great blue that sheens. It would be a great addition as a summer ink.
