Ink Review #388: Tono & Lims Koinegau

Today we continue our expedition into the Tono & Lims Fixation series. Koinegau is described as a red ink with gold shimmer.

This ink had low shading and low shimmer. The gold shimmer is barely perceptible.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and is waterproof.

I found this ink to have an average flow. For some reason, I found the color unappealing-it is a red that doesn’t swab well and reminds me of fresh blood. The red is slightly less bright than a typical red ballpoint pen.

Overall: I don’t think I will be purchasing this ink. The red is definitely not my color.
