Ink Review #398: Tono & Lims Superstar-T

Today marks the official end of my 5th notebook! It took approximately 2 months to fill this one (Hobonichi Cousin A5). I’m quite excited and have chosen the Nanami 7 Seas notebook to start next. This one will be quite different as it has dot-grids (similar to my earliest ink reviews) instead of squares.

Tono & Lims Superstar-T is yet another limited edition ink. It is a deep red.

This ink had no shading or sheen. The color reminds me red velvet. It is not a bright poppy red, but rather a deep rose red.

This ink had a long dry time at 40 seconds and no water resistance.

I found this ink to have an average flow that bordered on wet. The ink was consistent and made for an overall pleasant writing experience. I also liked the color; it is not as punchy as coral or bright red.

Overall: This color won me over. I like the wetter than usual flow as well as darker shade of red.
