Ink Review #407: Taccia Sharaku Akasakura

Today we will be reviewing Taccia Sharaku Akasakura, or “Red Cherry”. This ink is a medium, orange-y red.

This ink had no shading or sheen. The color is a rich red that leans slightly orange. It is similar to Diamine Blood Orange but with orange hues.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time at 40 seconds and low water resistance.

I found this ink to have a dry flow. The color is pleasant and not too vibrant. It would be great for taking notes or grading.

Overall: This ink is a rich red with a dry flow. I like the color a lot despite the dry flow.
