Ink Review #453: PenBBS #342 Matcha Ice Cream

Today I’m excited to review PenBBS Matcha Ice Cream! I love drinking iced matcha tea in the summer, so I’ve been looking forward to this ink for quite a while. This is a light yellow-green.

This ink had high shading and no sheen. The color is a light green with yellow undertones. As seen above, Matcha Ice Cream is slightly greener than Rohrer & Klingner Alt-Goldgrun and De Atramentis Sahara Grey.

I found that this ink had an average, slightly wet flow. I loved the shading and felt that it gave the color a pop of personality. I think this is a refreshing ink for the spring or summer.

Overall: I was not let down by this ink! It’s a perky yellow-green with great shading and flow. I recommend trying out a sample if you are looking for green inks.
