Ink Review #467: PenBBS #337 Macau

Today we will be taking a look at another grey ink from PenBBS. Macau is a warm-toned grey with hints of green.

This ink had low shading or sheen. As seen above, it is warmer toned than Pilot Iroshizuku Kiri Same (which has hints of brown). It also has pale greenish undertones.

This was a fascinating shade of grey to review. I liked the unique color but the undertones are hard to appreciate in smaller nibs. The color is pale and difficult to read with longer writing.

Overall: I recommend trying out a sample of Macau if you are into color-shifters! It reminds me of the Sailor Studio inks. The grey is a bit too pale for writing.
