Ink Review #511: L'Artisan Pastellier Callifolio Byzance

Today we will be taking a look at Callifolio Byzance. The name makes me chuckle since it sounds similar to prescription brand name medications.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading. There was some red sheen which was only apparent in large swatches.

This ink had a slightly wet flow. The color is a mid blue-black and is a few shades darker than Callifolio Botany Bay.

Overall: I like blue-black inks, but this one didn’t tick off all of my boxes. It’s too similar to Callifolio Botany Bay, though it has a better flow.
