Ink Review #540: Sailor Manyo Kakitsubata

Today I will be reviewing Sailor Manyo Kakitsubata. It feels like it’s been forever since my last Sailor review! Kakitsubata is the Japanese name for Iris laevigata (Japanese iris, or rabbit-ear iris) flower. The color seems close to a bluish violet—much brighter than the ink itself.

This ink had an average flow.

Overall: This is a gentle, deep blue. I recommend trying a sample, especially since it is highly water resistant!
