Ink Review #543: Sailor Manyo Chigaya — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we will be reviewing Sailor Manyo Chigaya.

Swabs:

This ink had no shading and low sheen. It has a matte appearance similar to Platinum Carbon Black and Sailor Kiwaguro.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 30 seconds and high water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink had an average flow and high saturation.

Overall: This was a smooth black ink. It’s a great water-resistant alternative to PCB and Kiwaguro.
