Ink Review #569: Ink Institute Cat at Dusk

Today I’m quite excited to review a new-to-me ink brand! Ink Institute specializes in custom ink from Taiwan and recently released their own ink series. Cat at Dusk is part of the Cat Series and is a pale bluish grey.

This ink had low/medium shading and no sheen. The color is a cool-toned, light grey with a hint of blue.

This ink had a long dry time at 60 seconds and medium water resistance.

This ink had an average flow but very low saturation. Unfortunately the color is very light and is not well-suited for writing.

Overall: This is a very pale grey with some shading. I was a bit disappointed since the color is so light. This ink would work best in broad nib sizes.
