Ink Review #571: Ink Institute Cat at Noon

Today I will be reviewing the second ink in the Cat Series, Cat at Noon.

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and no sheen. It is a pastel orange with pink and yellow undertones, and would match perfectly with Kaweco’s Frosted Papaya pen.

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and high water resistance.

This ink had an average and smooth flow. Unfortunately, I found that the ink was easily polluted. I left my pen inked for a few days and my sample turned into a dusty, lifeless pink.

Overall: Cat at Noon might be one of my favorite pastel oranges. It’s soft and inviting and reminds me of sunrises.
