Ink Review #626: TWSBI Black — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we will be reviewing TWSI Black.

Swabs:

This ink had no shading or sheen. This is a standard black without other hues. It is similar to Montegrappa Harry Potter Thestral Black.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time at 60 seconds and high water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink was very well saturated with a wet flow. The flow was excessive at times and would be best tempered in a finer nib size.

Overall: TWSBI Black is a regular black with a wet flow. I would recommend using this in a finer nib (or other inks) if you are planning to use this color for notes.
