Ink Review #633: Pineider Red — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today’s post brings us to the last Pineider ink sample! I saved this color for last since I have been on the lookout for red inks.

Swabs:

Pineider Red had low shading and no sheen. The color is a pale standard red.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 25 seconds and medium/high water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink had an average/dry flow and low saturation.

Overall: This is an unobtrusive red ink that would work well for grading and marking up notes. Overall, I liked the color (though the flow could be improved).
