Ink Review #635: Diamine Blue Edition Midnight Hour Sheen

Today we will be taking a look at Diamine Midnight Hour Sheen.

Swabs:

Midnight Hour Sheen had medium shading and red sheen. The color is a deep navy blue.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time at 60+ seconds and medium/high water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found this ink to have a slightly wet flow. It was well-saturated, but I experienced consistent hard starts and skips in my Lamy.

Overall: I liked this blue a lot. It’s nice and dark with good sheen. However, I don’t think I will use it frequently due to the hard starts.
