Ink Review #689: Wearingeul Henry Jekyll

For these next two posts, I will be reviewing the final inks that Wearingeul kindly sent me! These two inks are from the Jekyll to Hyde Ink Set. First up is Henry Jekyll—a dusty maroon.

Look how cute these bottles are!

Swabs:

Jekyll is a medium maroonish red with medium shading and no sheen. It reminds me of Faber Castell Garnet Red.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

Jekyll had an average dry time of 25 seconds and medium-high water resistance.

I found that Jekyll had an average, slightly dry flow. It had medium saturation.

Overall:

I thought this was a standard maroon ink. It’s similar to Garnet Red so I won’t be purchasing a full sized bottle.
