Ink Review #718: Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-Iro

Today we will be reviewing Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-Iro which translates to “Sky Blue”.

Swabs:

Ama-Iro is a bright light blue with high shading and low red sheen. The color is similar to Tono & Lime: Wings of the Sea. In contrast, Kon-Peki is a classic ballpoint blue (compared to Kon-Peki, which leans towards light blue).

Ama-Iro had a smooth, average flow with medium saturation.

Overall: I thought this was a wonderful light blue. It is well-behaved and shades nicely.
